About the Ranch!

Little Black Angus Ranch (LBA) is a Lowline Angus Ranch in rural Mekinock North Dakota. Family owned and operated, LBA prides itself in quality lowline genetics. Our cattle graze pure pastures and are fed home grown alfalfa and grass hay. There are no growth hormones or other “enhancements” made to our herd. Quality breeding stock and freezer beef available at all times. Gerry Roach started the lowline operation in 2006 bringing along Vicki -his wife, Johnny – their son, and JoDee their daughter-in-law along for this rewarding adventure. Due to the ease of calving and efficiency of this breed, we are able to maintain approximately 50 head of cattle while working full-time off farm occupations. We love our cattle.
